Nicki Minaj places top 10 on Forbes' "Highest Paid Women" list
Nicki Minaj has been raking in the dough through her various business ventures. The sometimes hip-hop, sometimes pop rapper has made her way to the Forbes "Highest Paid Women" list.
Forbes recently unveiled their list with Nicki Minaj, Rihanna, Beyonce, and Madonna all dominating the top 10.
Madonna took the top spot and raised the bar for the standard for female entertainers. The "Like A Virgin" singer cashed out with an income of $120 million and Nicki Minaj rounded off the list at No. 10 with $29 million this year.
Madonna also took the No. 1 spot on Forbes' list of richest celebrities overall. The pop icon even beat out Steven Spielberg.
Lady Gaga trailed closely behind on the "Highest Paid" list bringing in $80 million. Gaga was followed by Taylor Swift with $55 million, Beyoncé with $53 million, Jennifer Lopez at $45 million, Rihanna with $43 million, Katy Perry at $39 million, Pink with $32 million, Carrie Underwood with $31 million and Mariah Carey & Nicki Minaj both at $29 million.
But this isn't Nicki's first Forbes list appearance. Back in September, Nicki was named one of the top 5 "Cash Kings." She was the only female featured on the list, which she boasted about on Rich Gang's hit "Tapout," rapping "only rap b---h on the Forbes list." Nicki even beat out her YMCMB counterparts Lil Wayne and Birdman on this list.
Nicki is definitely ahead of the game with heavy touring, steady music sales, endorsement deals with Pepsi and others, as well as Myx, her own Moscato. Not to mention her line of headphones that were recently released through Beats by Dre.
